Epson Artisan 1430 Stylus 1400 Print Head Refurbished OEM

Description

This is a refurbished OEM Epson Artisan 1430 Stylus, 1400 Print Head.
We refurbish and test every print head to ensure it works to Epson specifications.

After installing the new print head, you will need to insert 1-2 sets of new ink cartridges to prime the print head. Partial used cartridge won't prompt the printer to pump/prime the print head.
Once primed, you can remove the new cartridges and save them for later use.
Please note that most refurbished printheads have some light scratches on them. This does NOT affact the print quality and is normal.
Some things to consider when replacing print head:
1.  Make sure the white ribbon cables are reattached properly to the printhead.
2. If all the ink lights are lit, the ribbon cables are not inserted properly to the CSIC holder (GOLD PRONGS THAT MAKE CONTACT WITH CARTRIDGE CHIPS)
3. The new print head needs to be primed with 1 or 2 brand new sets of ink cartridges.  Only brand new cartridges will prime the print head.  When the printer senses a brand new cartridge, it initiates extensive ink pumping. This fills the printhead with ink.  You can’t fill the printhead with ink by doing head cleaning.  Only new cartridges will properly prime the print head.
