Duck Mallard Bird WINGS Folk Art whirligig DIY REPLACEMENT SET
This do it yourself wing kit has been assembled to repair those old beloved ornaments that have not survived so well. These are a set and will spin opposite of each other. Meant for use on a 3/8" diameter ( or smaller ) lag bolt or carriage bolt... Many variations exist and we hope that this kit provides the flexibility needed to match the length or shape that your project requires.
Overall when assembled , this set measures 19-1/8" lengthwise and of course can be shortened to match your specific needs. These wings should be painted and sealed well to last outside in the elements. Any opening or void in the edges of plywood should be filled with wood filler and sealed well.
The hubs are pressure treated pine with 3/16" slots and a 3/8" hole
The wing blanks are 1/4" x 2-3/4" x 9-1/16" birch plywood . A standard pattern is drawn on one piece but can be bandsawn and sanded  to whatever shape needed.
We're including 4) 3/8" bronze bushings . (They are a little short but can be modified to provide a smoother rotation if desired)
No bolts are included
