A very attractive 1886 key date liberty head nickel graded VF 25 by PCGS. It carries a decent strike throughout both sides with very attractive original surfaces. A tougher key date coin to find in this mid-grade level. It has been approved by CAC for quality.
This key date coin carries a mintage of only 3,326,000. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 8,000 of these have survived in all grades today. This coin is one of only 43 graded Very Fine 25 by PCGS. It is also one of only four approved by CAC in this grade level.
